Hustling Hurricane

Finding a slot between the morning rush of intermodal trains is Florida East Coast Railway local 905 out of Bowden heading down to Dorena for a little work. They are southbound near about MP 35.8 on the Flagler Sub mainline curling toward the San Sebastian River trestle.

FEC 508 is an EMD GP38-2 built new for the road in Apr. 1978 and still adorned with the simplified blue dip scheme and classic large Hurricane logo. We'd shoot this job again passing almost the same spot northbound but from across the water later in the day. If you missed that one I posted a while back click here: flic.kr/p/2joc7EY
