Union Pacific's ASPF pulls east through Hilgard in the Blue Mountains of Oregon.
The ASPF, Advance Seattle-Portland Fruit, originated in Portland, Oregon. Its final destination was North Platte, Nebraska. It was not a daily train, and despite its name, was principally a TOFC and auto rack train out of Portland.
The ASPF added perishables at Hinkle, Oregon, and additional TOFC in Pocatello, Idaho. The perishables went to the C&NW at Wood Street in Chicago, and TOFC/auto racks to Kansas City, Memphis, and Atlanta via the Southern Railway.
