Union Pacific 6900, the first in a series of 47 DDA40X double diesels, was branded the world's largest and most powerful diesel electric locomotive.

 

The class engine and train are stopped on the wye at 31st Street in Ogden, Utah, awaiting permission to enter Riverdale Yard.
