Blazing a Trail

I was trackside on a hot August 14, 1988 evening, with my Canon F1 aimed at Rio Grande's hot Railblazer train, blasting east through Springville, Utah. I'm at 1600 South grade crossing, a location with a compromised line of sight. The right of way traverses a curved, tree lined cut, without the benefit of crossing warning lights, bells, and gates.
