The Feather River Route

Here's a traditional 3/4 roster shot of Western Pacific 3002, an EMD GP35 built new for the WP in November 1963. It was meticulously restored over the past two years by volunteers, both physically and mechanically. The locomotive runs well and sports a WP type Nathan M5 air horn. 3002 was in Salt Lake City on April 18, 2024, and will migrate to join the collection at the Utah State Railroad Museum at Ogden Union Station.
