Amtrak F40PH locomotives 321 and 336 pull the California Zephyr train No. 6 along the Thistle Line Change the morning of June 13, 1984. The line change, built to bypass a massive landslide in the town of Thistle, Utah, opened for service on July 4, 1983. A switchback for construction of the realignment of US Highway 6, is on Billies Mountain at upper right.
