My father and I have shared the hobby of accumulating railroad history for 50 years. Dad may be 82, but his passion for railroading is as strong as ever. Here, he captures a photo on his smart phone of Rio Grande 12069, a coal hopper built by Bethlehem Steel in 1979, from a time when the two of us spent time chasing the Rio Grande Zephyr over Soldier Summit.
