Refinery Row
Utah Railway's RUT611 local passes the Chevron and Big West Oil refineries in North Salt Lake, Utah the evening of July 11, 2021. The angled track and switch were installed in 1985 to allow D&RGW trains to enter and exit the UP via a new trackage rights agreement. While UP owns all of this trackage today, they refer to this connection as CP C789 and the former Rio Grande main track is Main No. 3.
