A diverse group of Union Pacific locomotives find themselves at the North Yard service pit in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 25, 1978. The group includes a DD35, an E9, a U30C, a TR5 'Cow & Calf', a GP9M, and an SD40. In three years, all but two of them would be retired. Sadly, the E9 would be scrapped.
