The Dragon

F-117A, s/n 85-0835 (MSN A.4057). First flew 30 June 1988. Nicknamed “The Dragon”. Flew 26 missions during Operation Desert Storm while assigned to the 416th TFS. During January 2004, tested by Det. 1, 53rd TEG at Holloman AFB, NM in a two-tone grey colour scheme to ascertain suitability for possible daylight use. Retired 13 March 2007 and stored at Tonopah, NV.
