Buddha statue, Sarnath.
This big Buddha statue was built completely by hand at site. For years the courtyard of the thai temple was filled with big boulders. Seemingly lying around all over the place in no order. On top of them traditional indian stone carvers sat with hammers and chisels. Hammering peice by peice.
We never saw them use a computer or map or any modern equipment. Just traditional tools that been around for hundreds of years. And this is what they carved out and put together. Amazing!
