Perfect place for a tin mine.

Another attempt at copying one of my Grandfathers fine photo's. Next time I'Il use a film camera like he did , although it will probably be 35mm not 120 .

Botallack Mine , a submarine mine produced Tin, Copper and Arsenic . It descends to a depth of approximately 250 fathoms below sea level, and extends some 400 metres under the sea. It closed because of the collapse in mineral prices in 1895. It is now owned by The National Trust, and forms part of UNESCO's world heritage site extending up the north side of Cornwall into Devon.
