Simonos Petros monastery

Simonos petros is an Orthodox, one of the twenty on Mount Athos in Greece. It is a spectacular building, built on a steep cliff to the southwest of the peninsula, famous for its daring architecture on seven levels. It was founded in the 13th century by an anchorite who lived in a cave nearby, which still exists today.
