In my A4 and A3 Sketchbook I recorded research, experiments and the developments/refining of my ideas. After research into the superstitious values of numbers and how this differs in cultures, I began looking at imagery with focus to Chinese beliefs and oriental styles because of the large role luck/lucky numbers can play in their culture. Superstitions exist in every culture and I moved on to combining the ideas and symbols of luck in different cultures within an image, and reflecting the oddities and sometimes bizarre nature of this.
