Daily bread (in infrared) DSC_0542

Bread wheat growing in a local field - it is not bread yet, but I trust you will indulge me a little. I have tried to make the composition roughly half daytime sky and half wheat to meet the weekly challenge.

 

Taken with an IR720 filter on a converted Nikon D80, with all the resulting weird pink and magenta colours converted to B&W.
