Prayers for the great forefathers

In the muslim tradition it is believed that death is but a transition to an eternal life in either heaven or hell decided based on the conscious choices man has made in this life. Our lives on earth or as it’s called in Arabic Dunya are but a test. Dunya translated literally is “the lower one” serving as a metaphor for the difference in status and luxury between this life and the next.
