LAST HURRAH

A day late for Conrail day, and not quite Conrail either. I heard this guy calling signals coming into town and realizing what the leader was, made a mad dash to try and get him at Conemaugh, where the sun was out. I didn't make it. A grand prix through the streets of downtown and I managed to get ahead, and hoped to beat the setting sun as well. I didn't. This is the consolation prize I guess. I didn't know it at the time, but this was the last C39-8 I ever got leading. Here 8202 leads westbound coal train 591 over the Fairfield Ave. underpass in Johnstown, PA.
