FROSTY INTERCHANGE

Conemaugh and Black Lick 104 has dropped a couple of cars for NS at the joint Cambria yard in the Woodvale section of Johnstown on a chilly morning. The SW7 will now run light back to downtown to pick up some inbound cars from CSX. In the background is the Maple Ave bridge. Constructed in the late 1950's to eliminate an at grade crossing at the same location, the bridge was built with street car tracks, which were in service for a little over a year. The traction company ended street car service in 1960.
