chip in a fruit bowl
This bowl is a bit wabi sabi with tiny chips around the rim. It came back from Ghana with Ray's two aunties who went there as missionaries.
It's not thought to be African, but rather Portuguese, traded by sailors for goods such as tobacco, sugar cane, coffee etc.
We like it as a fruit bowl. It gives me my subject for
