Twelve weeks since I was fortunate enough to receive my new hip and today was my final hospital physio appointment. I wore my purple boots and used my purple walking stick (no relevance to anything I am about to write!)
Ann, the lovely physio, told me I have 'a beautiful scar' and said that it has been a pleasure watching me recover.
I had no inkling she would say any of that! But I am walking confidently indoors and suddenly feel just on the point of walking everywhere solo. Joy!
