ONCF E1102 + E1250 + DK550 Safi
Der Phosphatverkehr zwischen den Minen in Ben Guerir und Youssoufia und der OCP-Chemiefabrik, bzw. dem Hafen von Safi wird derzeit noch ausschließlich mit ONCF E-Loks der Reihe E1100 (Hitachi) abgewickelt. Die beiden Personenzugpaare der Strecke sind Einsatzgebiet der ebenfalls von Hitachi stammenden ONCF-Reihe E1250.
Gleich aus je einer Lok dieser E-Lok-Baureihen und einer Diesellok der Reihe DK550 (GM-EMD GT26 CW-2) sowie einer Hand voll Güterwagen bestand am Vormittag des 12.02.2025 eine Überführungsfahrt. Angeführt von der ONCF E1102 begegnete das vermutlich aus der Werkstatt in Safi kommende Gespann in der Bahnhofseinfahrt einem Güterzug aus dem OCP-Werk im Süden der Stadt in Richtung Hafen Safi.
The phosphate traffic between the mines in Ben Guerir and Youssoufia and the OCP chemical plant and the port of Safi is currently hauled exclusively with ONCF class E1100 (Hitachi) electric locomotives. The two pairs of passenger trains on that line are running with ONCF class E1250, also from Hitachi.
On the morning of February 12, 2025, a short train consisted of one loco each from this electric loco series and a diesel locomotive class DK550 (GM-EMD GT26 CW-2), as well as a handful of freight cars are leaving Safi. Led by the ONCF E1102, the train, presumably coming from the workshop in Safi, encountered a freight train from the OCP factory in the south of the city, heading for the port of Safi.
