Due to a set of extremely lucky and highly unlikely circumstances Black5 44871 makes a second pass over Loch Nan Uamh viaduct in full sun on October 25th 2021.
After experiencing adhesion problems climbing the bank 44871 crossed the viaduct the first time later than planned but just in time to coincide with a lovely blue hole after the clouds and driving rain. After it's first pass over the viaduct 44871 again experienced adhesion problems and set back over the viaduct and out of sight. After restarting this was the scene on that second and more successful pass.
