Farewell Address
What was publicized to be the final run of the Black Mesa & Lake Powell arrives at the Salt River Project Generating Station at Page. The crowd was awash with emotion, some good, some bad, but a general somber feeling was in the air, with tears flowing over an era coming to an end. Lives will change, some folks will be forced to move across the region for new positions with the Salt River Project, and some may find a new line of work all together. Either way, the crew on the EA022 and trailing units provided a farewell horn show, with the shrill fouled P5 on the trailing unit drowing out the mellow normal P5 on the EA022.
