Puffin island
Located less than a mile off the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast, Skomer is the most amazing place to visit and is well known for its Puffins and rich wildlife. With half of the UK population at only a few sites; the Puffin is on the 'Red List’ of endangered species, which is why Skomer is so very special.
Puffins breed between March and April and leave again in mid-August. Some remain in the North Sea at winter, other move further south to the Bay of Biscay. At this time of year they are very busy feeding their young. To capture their behaviour in their natural habitat was the most amazing experience especially as the weather conditions were just about perfect!
