Dumping at Denton
A Terex R35 tips a load of iron ore. I think that the wagons had a capacity of about 16 tons and the dumper load was enough to fill the wagon.
The location was near the village of Denton Lincs. and the ore was being brought from the former quarries of Woolsthorpe and Denton which I think closed to quarrying in 1974. This must have been ore that remained and trains wee still running in 1976.
