For the first time ever, I had knitted a stuffed toy - a Postman Pat. Unfortunately I was mid-way through making it when I realised that I was expected to embroider Pat's facial features. I have basic sewing skills and embroidery is a foreign language to me. My husband painted the face, free-hand, on to Postman Pat and saved the day! Postman Pat is to be gifted to my daughter's partner, as he challenged me to make it.
