Pheasant

I followed this Ring Necked Pheasant for several hundred yards along the edge of the fallow field at Venus Reserve. It occasionally stopped to check me out but was happy to allow me to keep following. Edging closer with every step I captured this image of the bird displaying to nothing else in particular. I think he just wanted to stake his claim.
