Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla)

This illusive bird was using the dense cover of the new growth on the willows around the pool side to keep from view. I managed this shop through the gap in the foliage before it nervously hid away back in the depths of the undergrowth, the shrill sound of its song the only thing giving away its presence.
