Eastbound at Hinton

Doing exactly what they were purchased to do, a pair of Chessie SD50’s brings a trainload of tidewater-bound coal through Hinton, West Virginia on the Chesapeake & Ohio main line. SD50’s gained a reputation as being unreliable,but unconfirmed stories of the C&O pushing the earliest units to their limits did circulate among the railfan grapevine.
