972 at Hometown

George Hart’s Canadian Pacific ten wheeler pauses with its excursion train on the Hometown trestle, allowing passengers to take in the scenic splendor of the valley carved by the Little Schuylkill River. If I recall correctly, this was the first excursion over the trestle, which was part of a Conrail (ex-CNJ) branch recently sold to Carbon and Schuylkill counties.
