"Magic Square # 5" (1977) is part of a group of six works that are articulated around the square.

Based on the square, these spaces are offered to the viewer as large areas of permanence and conviviality, putting it in experiential contact with form, color and materials.

Thus, the Magic Squares belong to the group of Penetrable Works, in which the artist's research around the occupation of space by color reaches an environmental scale and articulates with an idea of renovation of the architectural space, approaching it to the garden, the square, the labyrinth, the amusement park and the shed.
