Dark Side of the Moon
Recently I purchased an original artwork from my friend Robin Thompson. Robin draws amazing LEGO art and you can find him on Facebook at Fun Men Press. I had the Classic Spacemen Skeleton art on my counter and had been admiring it for several weeks when I realized it would be the perfect starting point for a collaboration between me and Robin.
I took inspiration from the haunted scene and came up with the idea to build a Classic Space themed moc to expand on the story of the artwork.
The Story goes…
In 1984 space mission LL 6945 disappeared unexpectedly. Thought to have been sucked into a black hole, all hope of reaching these brave astronauts was lost…until now.
Many years later a ghostly broadcast has been picked up by LL 2022 and is just now being transferred to the main screen on the bridge. What message will these astronauts bring back from the other side?
