Boiler Going AWOL
Shot taken for Saturday Self Challenge 25/10/2025 -- Worse For Wear !!
Handed to me on a plate this challenge for this week - for the past few weeks the boiler had been mis-behaving ever since the last service when the engineer said with it's age it could be time for a replacement . The boiler took umbrage and started to play up and this week the new one was put in and the old one stuck outside for the Biffa bin men to come and take it away ( which they duly did ) and I had a challenge shot just sitting there waiting to be taken .
I am not sure if we are jinxed or if it is just us and our usual bad luck , but the new one packed up after 24 hours . The problem was not the new boiler but an issue with the condense pipework - we just can't win !!
A very topical track this week - called " Scrap Yard " taken from the soundtrack of the film called " Thief " -- Quite an intriguing film if you get a chance , it stars James Caan . The whole soundtrack is a superb album and includes the master piece " Beach Scene " !!
