Eyeball Through The Rifter
Taken for Saturday Self Challenge 23/07/2022 - Looking Through Something .
Well this week has been very hot so I first planned a contrived shot of taking a picture of one of the cameras rear screen taking a picture - thus looking through the other camera . A bit too close to a previous SSC with mirrors so a rethink and it had to be easy to take with the hot weather . Good news Wednesday is a lot more bearable and there is inspiration from an old advert from about ten years ago with a diver - diving through a car !! That will work using my car with it's rear sliding doors , so nip outside , open the doors and take a shot looking through the car ( and one of the car with the doors closed in the first comment box ) . I hasten to add that my house is not the one in the shot , there is a strange layout and my drive and garage looks like it belongs to someone else's house .
Well the advert in 2012 was for a Ford B Max and that had a sliding door as well but no B Pillar hence the advert with the car suspended on it's side over a swimming pool and a diver diving right through the car into the water . My car is a Peugeot Rifter which also has a rear sliding door - but does retain a B pillar !!
The music to the advert is a splendid piece of Space Rock dating back to 1971 and I think I am right in saying that Lemmy was on bass in Hawkwind then.
