A Meeting Of Mines
Shot taken for Saturday Self Challenge 14/05/2022 ---
A Family Portrait Of Inanimate Objects !!
As with all the others in the group , when first reading of the challenge - total despair at the thought of people getting into a shot , but then relief to realise no people allowed in the shot . Next thing the real challenge is of finding a subject !!
So , for my family portrait of inanimate subjects I have chosen a few of my Engine House collectables - they are models of the Engine Houses that would have been found on the surface of the tin and/or copper mines found in Cornwall . This is only abut half of my collection , picked up over the years when in Kernow - it all started with the white one to the right - the more arty/crafty one with wonky walls and stack . This was given to me by my father after he moved to live West of the Tamar . There is a normal colour view to see them more clearly in the first comment - it is a bit Eric Morecambe -- All the right pieces , but not in the right order !!
For the challenge I have presented them in sepia with the faded edges as the old early family photos would have been .
A brief few lines about the mining in Cornwall -------

Seeing as how this is be a " Photograph " , well here is Photograph to listen to by Lef Deppard !!
