The Tumbledown Tomb
Taken for Saturday Self Challenge 22/06/2019 - Something beginning with " T " in a square format .
So off we go with this challenge , set camera to 1:1 aspect ratio and take a shot of something begging with T , great ! I got a shot of a newly finished Teddy Bear that my wife had made ( see first comment box ) . However after a wander on Sunday , the Force took me and I turned to the Dark Side . I was using my old camera which does not have a choice of aspect ratio so I had to crop to the square format . I have seen this tomb a number of times and it is indeed in a sorry state , there is even a brick wall in a cross form within the tomb to support the cover slab . Being in such a dangerous condition it has been surrounded by a metal post fence which itself is now in a poor state . I ought to say HFF at this point !
I am sorry to say I have not been able to find any information on the history of the tomb thus far and not seen any other shots of it either .
I felt a mono shot would suit best and in fact all the shots I took in the churchyard were taken in black & white ! Of course the capture needed a suitably coloured frame .
So all that is left is to have some appropriate music to go with the image - maybe ,
" Children of the Grave " might suit !!
