Austria - Hallstätter See
Hallstatt Lake (Hallstätter See) is a lake in Upper Austria at the northern foot of the Dachstein Massif at 508 meters above sea level. On the west bank is the town of Hallstatt, famous for its salt mining since prehistoric times and the world's oldest still operating industrial brine pipeline. The lake stretches from south to north, is 7.5 km long and has a maximum width of 1.4 km. The area is about 8.55 km² and the average depth is 65 m.
Hallstatt Lake with the town of Hallstatt on its western shore was entered in 1997 on the UNESCO World Heritage List Hallstatt-Dachstein.

Jezioro Hallstatt wraz z położonym na jego zachodnim brzegu miastem Hallstatt zostało w roku 1997 wpisane na listę światowego dziedzictwa kulturowego UNESCO Hallstatt-Dachstein.
