Leszno - The Town Hall
The Town Hall in Leszno is a Baroque, three-story building with a tall, slender tower overlooking the city. It is one of the most beautiful town halls in Greater Poland. The present building dates from 1707-1708, and its architect was the Italian architect Pompeo Ferrari, brought by the starost of Greater Poland, Rafał Leszczyński. It is built on a rectangular plan, the corners are emphasized by double Corinthian columns and the entrance is dominated by a four-sided tower with clock faces.
