Dubrownik - city view
Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia, once a center of European trade, currently primarily a tourism center.
The settlement center and the oldest part of the city as well as the biggest tourist attraction is the Old Town (Stari Grad). It is a unique in Europe, fully preserved urban layout of the medieval city with a system of defensive fortifications. Entirely entered on the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The city fortification system, consisting of a massive defensive wall with ramparts and gates, has been preserved in an unchanged state from the 17th century. The city has numerous architectural monuments, street layout and port. There are two fortresses located behind the walls (Lovrijenac and Revelin), which were the city's first line of defense.

Centrum osadniczym i najstarszą częścią miasta a jednocześnie największą atrakcją turystyczną jest Stare Miasto (Stari Grad). Stanowi ono unikalny w Europie, zachowany w całości układ urbanistyczny średniowiecznego miasta wraz z systemem umocnień obronnych. W całości wpisane zostało na listę Światowego Dziedzictwa Kulturowego UNESCO. System fortyfikacji miejskich, Składający się z potężnych murów obronnych z basztami i bramami, zachował się w nie zmienionym stanie od XVII wieku. W mieście znajdują się liczne zabytki architektury, układ ulic oraz port. Po za murami są zlokalizowane dwie fortece (Lovrijenac i Revelin), które były pierwszą linią obrony miasta.
