Będlewo - the palace
The palace in Będlewo together with the surrounding park and the estate belonged to the magnate family of Potocki in the years 1694-1907. The palace in the neo-Gothic style was built in 1866 by Bolesław Eulogiusz Potocki.
The building was erected on an irregular plan and consists of several sections. It has a three-story tower with a staircase. and is equipped with numerous turrets, pinnacles and battlement. The interior of the palace has a rich decoration in the forms of English Gothic, Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Gothic. Part of the equipment and the collection of carriages were stolen during World War II.
Since 1973, the palace has been included in the register of monuments and the manager of the facility is the Mathematical Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences

Pałac w Będlewie wraz z otaczającym go parkiem i majątkiem ziemskim w latach 1694-1907 należał do magnackiej rodziny Potockich. Pałac w stylu neogotyckim wybudował w roku 1866 Bolesław Eulogiusz Potocki.
Budynek został wzniesiony na nieregularnym planie i składa się z kilku członów. Posiada trzypiętrową wieżę mieszczącą klatkę schodową,. oraz wyposażony jest w liczne wieżyczki, sterczyny i krenelaż. Wnętrze pałacu posiada bogaty wystrój o formach angielskiego gotyku, neorenesansu i neogotyku. Część wyposażenia oraz kolekcja powozów została zrabowana podczas II wojny światowej.
Od 1973 roku pałac ujęty jest w rejestrze zabytków a zarządcą obiektu jest Instytut Matematyczny Polskiej Akademii Nauk.
