Ronda - Ciudad
The first settlement on the site of Ronda was Celtic Arunda, later absorbed by the Romans and captured in the 8th century by the Moors. Attempts reconquest of the city fall to the fifteenth century, was captured in 1485 years by Ferdinand III.
Located on both sides of the deep river gorge Guadalevin. The town consists of two districts: Ciudad, which is part of the Arab and Mercadillo, Which is the newer part of the post-reconquest .
