Darkness

 

Darkness resides deep in her soul,

sealed away years ago.

New hurts and pain cause a crack,

allowing it to silently slither on through.

Raising doubts and insecurities

of long,

long,

long ago.

Old and new collide and crash,

Turmoil tumbling on through,

 

Until such a time when light shall shine,

to banish the darkness away once again.
