A Moment of Calm

As the snow crisply crunches with each step of the hooves; the silence of the night settles around horse and woman.

Closing her eyes and breathing in deeply, she absorbs the peacefulness and energy of nature surrounding her. With each slow frosty exhale of breathe, the day slowly releases her from its grasp until all that remains is calmness. Opening her eyes, she takes one last look before turning towards home to get some sleep, knowing she'll be ready for a new day.
