Superb lyrebird, Fitzroy Falls
We had an amazing experience when we managed to locate a superb lyrebird. We spent about 15 minutes watching, listening and photographing this bird. They are such a great bird to listen to because they mimic all the other birds in that area. It was about 2 1/2 metres up off the ground and just sat there singing and singing and singing. We could hear another one probably 100 metres away.
