Surrounding the mesh are most of the chosen fabrics for my friend Katherine's locker hook project from March 2019. Rug was soon completed, photographed in her garden, and given away as a gift, which was a difficult decision considering how much loving labor she put into it.
We were both surprised at the different effects the various cloths made in the finished stitches, which meant that the selection of cloth was one of the most difficult and crucial steps. Some tiny pieces are pinned into place as reminders of which fabric would be placed there.
