Woodhouse Washlands Poplar

Here's my nomination, the "Woodhouse Washlands Poplar".

This truly colossal tree is a mature Black Italian Poplar at Woodhouse Washlands Nature Reserve, in the southeastern corner of Sheffield. With an enormous 4.3 metre circumference, this 35 metre tree towers over the surrounding floodplain and the nearby River Rother.
