Two and a half inch ball gowns

Sampling miniature ball gowns for my new exhibition piece.

I just love making small things and these have been a pleasure to research and make.

The research involved lots of reading and also watching the DVD of "My Fair Lady".

Sometimes the life of an artist is a hard one!

Mixed media including fabric, chiffon, paint, ink, machine embroidery and hand embroidery.

I only need one dress and I have already made four - could they be brooches?
