Juggling!

Working several projects at the same time.

It was only yesterday whilst filling in application forms for the two exhibitions I'm commited to this Autumn, that I realised that the dates clash and so I have to have two pieces finished very quickly.

I have shown here the first lay out of a background Suffrage piece. The centre is a section of calico which has been discharge and breakdown printed, and the outer edges are slub silk.

It's been another wet, dull day so the colours look very subued. However they just vibrate in real life. The yellow silk is shot with fucia, and the green is the acid green which makes your teeth ache.

Hope to stitch tomorrow, when hopefully the light will be better for photography.
