Marie Stopes sample ( incomplete)

This is the current sample in the Marie Stopes series. The whipped spider stitches are my representation of the first birth control devices. Not sure about the colour scheme though

The sample is on watercolour paper which is painted with pigment paint, and is then covered with threads, wool and chiffon and then machine stitched.

After being burnt back with a heat gun it is then hand stitched using a variety of threads.
