Dexter background black.

On dexter side of hatchment two cartouches. Dexter, within the Order of the Bath, Argent a bend sable and in sinister chief a garb gules(Whitworth). Sinister, within an ornamental wreath, Whitworth, in pretence, Argent on a chevron azure between three roses gules slipped and barbed proper three fleurs-de-lys or, a crescent sable for difference(Cope).

Earl`s coronet.

Motto: Dum spiro spero.

Supporters: Two eagles with wings elevated sable beaked and armed or, ducally gorged or pendant therefrom an escutcheon `Argent a garb gules`.

On sinister side of hatchment. On a lozenge, surmounted by a duke`s coronet, Qly argent and gules a bend vair(Sackville).

In pretence: Cope.

Supporters: Two leopards proper spotted sable.

All on a mantle gules and ermine.

Crest:(above and between both achievements), From a ducal coronet or a garb gules.

For Charles, Earl Whitworth, who m. 1801, Arabella Diana, dau. and co-heir of Sir Charkes Cope, 2nd Bt., and widow of John Frederick, 3rd Duke of Dorset.

Died: 13 May 1825 aged 71.
